THE LITTLE DOOR PRESENTS A SPECIAL COLLABORATION WITH CIRQUE DU SOLEIL IN HONOR OF THE WORLD PREMIERE OF “IRIS”:
A journey through the world of cinema
The Little Door restaurant and Little Next Door collaborated with Cirque du Soleil for the opening night of the world premiere of “IRIS” on September 25th, 2011 at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood, California.
Celebrities in attendance included: Aaron Paul, Anna Lynne McCord, Anne Heche and James Tupper, Barrett Foa, Bryan Singer, Cherry Jones (24), Chloe Moretz, Christina Hendricks and Geoffrey Arend, Christina Milian, Cindy Crawford &Rande Gerber, Constance Zimmer, Criss Angel, George Kotsiopoulos, Iqbal Theba (Glee), James Cameron, James Gandolfini, Jesse Williams (Grey’s Anatomy), Joe Manganiello, Jon Favreau, Kate Beckinsale and Len Wiseman, Kevin Dillon, Kim Raver, Kristin Bauer (True Blood), Mario Lopez and Courtney Mazza, Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves, Napoleon and Tabitha Dumo, Neil Patrick Harris, Patrick Dempsey, Priscilla Presley, Rich Sommer (Mad Men), Sandra Luesse, Serena Williams, Vanessa Hudgens.
Guests that attended the “IRIS” show fulfilled all cravings by enjoying various tastings of the famous Roast Beef with Gribiche and Chervil, Eggplant Caviar with Roasted Lipstick Pepper and Lemon Preserve on Buck Wheat Blini, all available at the Little Door kiosk, located alongside 15 other restaurants. In addition, the Little Next Door’s master pastry Chef, Romain Drocourt, tempted palates with mini Opera Cakes and French macarons in a variety of flavors such as Banana Chocolate, Coconut, Pistachio, Praline and Raspberry.
The Little Door was not only one of the select restaurants present at the food kiosk, but was selected as the caterer of choice for the exclusive Cirque Du Soleil VIP lounge; featuring a special menu that ranges from Mini Foie Gras & Fig Compote Panna Cotta to Profiterole with Smoked Yellow Squash, Zucchini, all topped by the signature “IRIS” cocktail.
But the party is not over yet! For the full Cirque Du Soleil experience, Chef T. Nicolas Peter has specifically designed the limited edition “IRIS” menu in honor of historical Hollywood stars. Whether you are in the mood for Bogie’s Mediterranean White Sea Bass or Marilyn’s Pink Lady Apple Ravioli, these special recipes will be available starting September 25that The Little Door restaurant.
The Little Door and Little Next Door will also feature IRIS cocktails, such as the Soju Dirty Martini and Soju Lemon Drop starting from this Friday, September 9th onwards.
