LOS ANGELES, CA – Only once a year does the famed Ridge Vineyards make its way to Los Angeles to share its current releases with the many loyal fans of this historic winery. This year they have chosen to enjoy the hospitality, ambiance and fare at The Little Door for a leisurely six course wine paired dinner.

Tuesday June 22nd at 7:30pm, come explore pairings with Chef T. Nicolas Peter’s market driven organic fare and exquisite Ridge wines including 2008 Santa Cruz Mountain Chardonnay and Ridge MonteBello Red.

Then see the subtle nuances of terroir though food and wine pairings with Ridge’s celebrated Zinfandels. From salad through dessert, understand what influence place has on a grape and ultimately the wine.

Ridge’s Montebello Red – the wine that won the 2006 “Judgment of Paris 30th Anniversary Wine Tasting” with their 1971 & 2000 vintage, will be paired that night with Chef Peter’s entrée, showcasing the 2006 vintage. Eric Baugher, the head of the winemaking team for Ridge Monte Bello will be on hand to share conversation and questions in the intimate Blue Room of The Little Door.

The Little Door is exceptionally proud to be hosting Ridge in Los Angeles. The philosophies of both embrace great respect for mother earth. Ridge has a deep commitment to sustainable agriculture and Chef Peter was one of the early Los Angeles chefs to focus on organic and sustainable products.
